Resident Experts is a local professional directory built on a simple idea: the best person to hire is someone who lives and works in your community.
We're based on Long Island, launching first in Patchogue and the surrounding area. Our goal is to connect homeowners and consumers with professionals they can actually trust — not because of paid rankings or anonymous reviews, but because every expert on our platform has earned their place here.
Why We're Building This
If you've ever searched online for a contractor, accountant, or any local service provider, you know the problem. You get a list of names with no way to know who's legitimate, who's local, and who paid to be at the top. You end up doing what everyone does — asking a friend or neighbor instead.
We think there should be a better option. A place where the professionals listed have been held to a real standard, and where "local" actually means something.

ResidentExperts.com has been registered since 2003, for over two decades. The idea was ahead of its time back then. The tools and the market have finally caught up.
